The Making of a Recipe
How does Crisp use official documentation for each model in AI suggestions and checks? Learn how recipes are created and what these checks can establish.
Think about what you can do with the appliance you have
Even among air fryers, features such as temperature adjustment, steam function, and how ingredients are arranged vary by model. Crisp aims to reduce the frustration of being guided through instructions that don’t match your specific model by breaking down “I want to make this in my Recolte” into specific model numbers and ingredient requirements. This service is independent of any manufacturer.
Steps for Creating a New Recipe
Match the model number and conditions
In addition to the dish name, check the quantities of the main ingredients, their initial state, the number of servings, and any ingredients to avoid. If any necessary conditions are missing, verify them before generating the recipe.
Make recommendations using model-specific documentation
We provide the AI with model-specific data compiled from official user manuals, product information, and cooking examples. This data includes cooking modes, configurable temperature and time settings, appliance and layout constraints, and the correspondence between ingredients and cooking examples.
Review settings and content
The program checks settings such as the range and increments, and then uses a separate AI call to verify that the settings match the user’s preferences, correspond to the cooking examples in the documentation, and confirm the intermediate checks and completion criteria. This separate AI call does not constitute human review or actual cooking tests.
Share suggestions that pass the checks
We will not publish recipes that fail inspection. For published recipes, we will record the version of the model specifications and the source. Even recipes that pass inspection may still contain errors, and we do not guarantee the taste, texture, or doneness.
How to account for differences between models
The following are examples of official specifications and the generation constraints adopted by Crisp. We distinguish between facts verified in reference materials and our own constraints, and we do not include unsubstantiated figures.
RAO-2
This model does not allow temperature adjustments. We leave its fixed temperature value unknown and do not invent a temperature-setting operation. Initial cooking times used in generation are limited to those in official examples.

The TIME operation and cooking-time examples in the manual use inconsistent time increments. Crisp limits the initial settings to 5-minute increments and distinguishes them from elapsed time for checks during cooking. The actual setting increments on the appliance have not been verified. Avoiding alcohol is Crisp’s editorial policy; the manufacturer has not confirmed the discrepancies between official warnings and recipe examples.

We limit these recipes to manual settings and the middle and lower racks. Do not adapt preheating or steaming procedures from other models, and functions such as the top rack and rotisserie cooking are currently excluded from this collection.

The original recipes listed here are AI prototypes developed by independently designing ingredient ratios and procedures based on official documentation. They are not manufacturer-approved recipes, and the site operator has not actually prepared them. Taste, texture, and reproducibility have not been verified. In the “References” section of each page, we distinguish between standards confirmed in official sources and changes we have made independently. These recipes were created through a different process than newly generated AI proposals, so this does not mean they have all undergone the same automated checks as described above. The illustrations are not photos of the finished dish.
What We Can and Cannot Verify
Being able to set a temperature does not mean the food will be cooked through. Results vary with the food's thickness, starting temperature and arrangement, as well as differences between individual appliances. Each recipe's quantities, thickness, chilled or frozen starting state, preheating and arrangement are conditions for following its instructions. Before cooking, select your exact model number and always read the recipe for that model. Quantities, settings, controls and arrangement vary between models. Use with other models or different quantities or thicknesses has not been tested. Information that is missing or contradictory remains unknown; cooking times are not calculated in proportion to capacity or weight. The initial setting is not a measured time to completion. Total time, including preparation, preheating, temperature checks and cooling, has also not been measured. The setting time alone does not guarantee that the food will meet the doneness criteria.
When the initial heating does not finish the dish, or the conditions do not match
Before cooking, check the quantity, thickness, initial state, arrangement, and required equipment. If the conditions do not match, do not begin cooking; instead, refer to the official instructions for the same model or the product’s cooking guidelines to select a method that suits your specific conditions. Follow the instructions and procedures listed in the recipe when checking progress. If the food has not reached the desired state of doneness and you cannot confirm the basis for the next step, do not add more time based on speculation, and do not eat it.
AI consultations are for assistance only. Certain conditions apply, such as the need to log in and having a sufficient balance, and there is no guarantee that following the advice will result in a safe outcome. Ingredients, instructions, finishing requirements, and sources can be viewed without logging in. We do not provide guidance on refrigerating meat that is in the middle of cooking and finishing it at a later date.
Let’s take the tips from others using the same model and apply them to your next dish.
In the Kitchen section, users can post cooking logs and questions and interact with one another. Including the model number used, quantities, thickness, initial conditions, and observations made during the process helps convey differences in conditions. Posts are based on users’ own reports; safety and reproducibility are not certified based solely on photos or the number of posts.
