These recipes are specific to each model number. Even within the same brand, do not apply settings intended for one model to another.

Initial Heating Settings

First HeatingAir Oven170°C / 5min

After cooking, check the doneness requirements in the main instructions.

This is the cooking time for the first round. Please refer to the instructions for preheating. You’ll need to check for doneness and cook further as needed.

The total time, including preparation, removal, and additional heating, has not been measured.

Check Before Cooking
  • 1 slice of white bread weighs approximately 60g and is no more than 20mm thick. Cut it in half and arrange the slices in a single layer. These instructions do not apply to frozen bread or thick-sliced bread.
  • The quantities, thickness, and initial conditions are based on my own experimental parameters; the optimal amounts and results on an actual appliance have not been verified. Start without preheating.
  • Place the ingredients on a single layer, spacing them apart and avoiding stacking. If they do not fit in a single layer, cook them in separate batches and check each batch individually. Since the interior will still be warm for subsequent batches, the results may not be the same.
  • Make sure that ingredients and containers do not exceed the MAX line and do not block the steam vents or hot air vents. Do not line the basket with paper or foil.
  • The initial cooking time setting does not represent the total time required to complete the dish. If the cooking process is paused for approximately 10 minutes, check the unit’s display and the remaining time before resuming.
  • Keep continuous use—including additional heating and cooking in batches—to less than 180 minutes. When using the appliance continuously, follow the instruction manual and allow the unit to cool completely before resuming use.

Instructions

  1. 01

Slice the bread and arrange it in a single layer.

Cut 1 slice of bread in half. Fit the inner rack in the correct orientation and arrange the bread without overlapping. Do not add small scraps, which can fall through the gaps in the inner rack.

  2. 02

Start cooking with a 5-minute setting

Start without preheating: Air Oven, 170℃, 5 minutes. After about 3 minutes, pause to check the surface; if it has turned a light golden color, flip it over. The 3-minute mark is a checkpoint for checking progress, not the time to set on the appliance. If necessary, resume cooking for the remaining time.

  3. 03

Check how it’s browning and brush with butter

Remove the food when both sides are dry and lightly browned to your liking, and the center is warm. If it is not ready, set Air Oven to 170℃ for 5 minutes, stopping manually after each 1 minute to check. Once done, transfer to a clean plate and divide the butter, 6g in total, between the 2 slices.

Check the results

Warm the already-baked bread and check both sides for dryness and your preferred browning. It may be ready before the initial 5 minutes have elapsed; use the viewing window and checks during heating to avoid overbrowning.

If you get stuck along the way

The edges brown quickly

Stop that batch early. Do not skip checks during cooking when the chamber is already warm, such as for batch 2.

The bottom is white

Flip the food over to check if it’s dry. Be careful not to burn it while trying to ensure both sides are evenly browned.

How the Recipes Were Created and Sources Consulted

These are original recipes created using AI on Crisp. They are not listed as official manufacturer recipes or recipes that have been verified using actual devices.

Independently designed details and unverified points
Matching buttered-toast conditions for RAO-3 have not been verified. The thickness of 1 slice of bread, the lower initial settings, and the butter applied afterward were independently designed. The ingredient ratios, shape, initial settings, and criteria for doneness are original designs by Crisp. Cooking on the actual appliance has not been performed.

The manual states that a short press of TIME changes the setting by 5 minutes, while its cooking references also include times such as 18 minutes. Since actual device increments are unverified, this page uses initial settings in 5-minute increments and distinguishes them from elapsed checking times. Omitting alcohol is an independent prototype policy.
