Initial Heating Settings

First HeatingAir Oven180°C / 10min

After cooking, check the doneness requirements in the main instructions.

This is the cooking time for the first round. Please refer to the instructions for preheating. You’ll need to check for doneness and cook further as needed.

The total time, including preparation, removal, and additional heating, has not been measured.

Check Before Cooking
  • The test piece weighs 60g with the pre-baked crust. It is 12cm in diameter and no more than 15mm thick, including the filling. Before cooking, make sure it fits inside the empty pot, and place only 1 piece inside.
  • The quantities, thickness, and initial conditions are based on my own experimental parameters; the optimal amounts and results on an actual appliance have not been verified. Start without preheating.
  • Place the ingredients on a single layer, spacing them apart and avoiding stacking. If they do not fit in a single layer, cook them in separate batches and check each batch individually. Since the interior will still be warm for subsequent batches, the results may not be the same.
  • Make sure that ingredients and containers do not exceed the MAX line and do not block the steam vents or hot air vents. Do not line the basket with paper or foil.
  • The initial cooking time setting does not represent the total time required to complete the dish. If the cooking process is paused for approximately 10 minutes, check the unit’s display and the remaining time before resuming.
  • Keep continuous use—including additional heating and cooking in batches—to less than 180 minutes. When using the appliance continuously, follow the instruction manual and allow the unit to cool completely before resuming use.

Prepare ingredients with low moisture content

  2. 02

    Add toppings inside the pot

Lightly coat the bottom of the inner pot with 1g of olive oil and place 1 pizza base inside. Spread the tomatoes, leaving a 1cm border around the edge. Place the cheese in a single layer without overlapping, then drizzle the remaining 2g of olive oil over the top. Keep the total thickness, including toppings, to 15mm or less, and trim any cheese that extends beyond the edge.

  3. 03

Place the pot correctly and cook

Fit the inner rack in the correct orientation and orient the inner pot handle lengthwise relative to the front of the basket. Place the pot in the center or toward the front of the rack, keeping the rear steam holes clear. Start Air Oven at 180℃ for 10 minutes. Pause after 5 minutes to check the surface and stop before severe burning begins. To continue, return the pot and resume cooking.

  4. 04

Check the bottom and the cheese

Check that the cheese has melted and that the underside has no sticky, cold spots when lifted with a spatula. If more cooking is needed, set Air Oven to 180℃ for 5 minutes, then stop manually every 1〜2 minutes to check. The 1〜2 minutes is the checking interval. Once cooked, use oven mitts to remove the pot, transfer the pizza to a plate, and top with 2 torn basil leaves.

Check the results

Make sure the entire pre-baked base is warm and the cheese has melted. Do not use this baking time for raw fermented dough.

If you get stuck along the way

Watery

Wipe the moisture off the cheese thoroughly, and be careful not to add too many tomatoes.

The pizza crust does not fit

The interior dimensions have not been confirmed. Do not bend the crust to force it in. Use a smaller pre-baked pizza crust that fits, and check its weight and thickness.

Independently designed details and unverified points
The official temperature and cooking time for RAO-3 pizza have not been confirmed. This is a proprietary prototype that involves warming and baking a pre-baked crust with a small amount of toppings in the inner pot. The ingredient ratios, shape, initial settings, and criteria for determining when it is done are based on Crisp.’s proprietary design; actual cooking with the device has not been performed.

The manual states that a short press of TIME changes the setting by 5 minutes, while its cooking references also include times such as 18 minutes. Since actual device increments are unverified, this page uses initial settings in 5-minute increments and distinguishes them from elapsed checking times. Omitting alcohol is an independent prototype policy.
