Roasted Pumpkin

An original recipe for the COSORI PRO LE 4.7L, made with 300g of pumpkin (net weight, seeds and pulp removed). This recipe was developed using AI prototyping based on the model’s official settings; actual cooking results have not been verified.

Initial Heating Settings

First HeatingManually set temperature and time205°C / 15min

After about 8 minutes, flip and reposition the food, then check for any areas that are burning. Check the condition of the food once the cooking cycle is complete.

This is the cooking time for the first round. Please refer to the instructions for preheating. You’ll need to check for doneness and cook further as needed.

The total time required, including preparation, has not been measured. The time displayed refers only to the appliance’s settings and standard preheating.

Check Before Cooking
  • Cut the ingredients into uniform cubes of up to 20mm, including the skin. Do not use this setting for thinly sliced ingredients or large halves.
  • Attach the crisper plate and arrange the ingredients in a single layer without stacking them. If you cannot ensure there is enough space, divide the ingredients into 2 batches. The 4.7L capacity does not represent the maximum food weight.
  • These test conditions involve preparing the unit while it is cool, preheating it to 205℃ using the "Preheat" function, and then adding the ingredients. The standard preheating time for this temperature is 5 minutes.
  • Do not place ingredients or paper inside while preheating. Do not use any mode that requires adding water, and do not fill the basket with water, oil, or sauce. Ensure proper ventilation of the plate.
  • If you are cooking in 2 batches, refrigerate the waiting ingredients as needed. Wait until the unit and plate have cooled sufficiently before resuming with the same preheating settings. The cooling time has not been measured.

Instructions

0 / 6 Complete
  1. 01

    Cut into uniform pieces

Wash the pumpkin and remove the seeds and pulp. On a stable cutting board, cut it into manageable pieces and dice them into cubes no larger than 20mm. If the pumpkin is too hard to cut safely, use pre-cut pieces instead.

  2. 02

    Coat with oil

In a bowl, lightly toss the pumpkin with olive oil and salt to coat it evenly. If it’s very wet, pat it dry first.

  3. 03

    Preheat the unit

Properly attach the crisper plate to the basket and place it back in the air fryer without adding any food. Select “Preheat,” set the temperature to 205℃, and start the cycle. Wait for the 5-minute preheat cycle—which is set automatically—to complete. Prepare a heat-resistant surface where you can place the hot basket.

  4. 04

Arrange them in a single layer and heat manually.

Once preheating is complete, remove the basket and arrange the ingredients on the tray, leaving space between them so they aren’t stacked. Return the basket to the unit, manually set the temperature to 205℃ and the time to 15 minutes, and start the cycle. Do not use the preset’s default time. After about 8 minutes, flip and reposition the ingredients, then check to see if any are burning.

  5. 05

Check the condition and finish cooking

Check that a bamboo skewer slides through the center without resistance and that the edges are not hard. Sprinkle with black pepper to taste and serve.

  6. 06

If needed, heat further in short intervals

If the center is hard or not cooked enough, use the manual setting at 205℃ and add 1 minute at a time, checking after each addition. If the surface starts to burn, stop adding heat rather than continuing the same heating. These are initial prototype settings, not measured times to completion.

Check the results

Check that a bamboo skewer slides through the center without resistance and that the edges are not hard. Sprinkle with black pepper to taste and serve. The flavor, texture, and any additional cooking time required have not been verified using an actual air fryer.

If you get stuck along the way

The center is hard

Check to make sure there are no large chunks mixed in. If there is no burning, cook for a short time and check with a bamboo skewer each time.

The corners get burnt

Next time, I’ll cut the ingredients uniformly and switch their positions halfway through. The flavor and completion time have not yet been confirmed using the actual device.
