Initial Heating Settings

Initial Heating (Untested)Air Oven165°C / 15min

Check the flower buds after 5 and 10 minutes. Check the thick stems after 15 minutes.

This is the cooking time for the first round. Please refer to the instructions for preheating. You’ll need to check for doneness and cook further as needed.

You’ll need to divide the broccoli into florets and drain them thoroughly. The total time required to complete the recipe—including preparation, mid-process checks, and cooking in batches—has not been measured.

Check Before Cooking
  • Aim for florets with a maximum width and thickness of about 3cm and a weight of at least 10g each. Peel the stems and cut them no thicker than 10mm and to a length of 4cm. Do not add loose, finely crumbled flower buds.
  • Install the inner rack in the correct orientation and arrange the food in a single layer with space between each piece. If the entire quantity does not fit, divide it into 2 or more batches, checking the results after each batch. The basket’s 3L capacity does not guarantee that it can hold the weight of this recipe.
  • Arrange the food in the basket without lining it with paper or aluminum foil, and make sure not to block the steam vents. Lightly coat the food with oil; do not let it pool in the basket.
  • These are test conditions in which refrigerated main ingredients are heated immediately after preparation, without preheating. Frozen items are not included.
  • Additional cooking and cooking batch 2 start with the interior already warm, so the same results as the initial batch are not guaranteed. Do not increase the quantity and extend the cooking time proportionally.
  • Keep continuous use—including additional heating and cooking in batches—to less than 180 minutes. When using the appliance continuously, follow the instruction manual and allow the unit to cool completely before resuming use.

  1. 01

    Prepare uniform florets and stems

Wash the refrigerated broccoli, drain it thoroughly, and weigh out 180g net. Separate it into small florets about 3cm in size, and peel the thick stems, then slice them into pieces no thicker than 10mm. Pat them dry to ensure no water remains in the florets.

  2. 02

    Brush with garlic oil

Mix 7g of olive oil, 2g of garlic, and 1g of salt in a bowl, then lightly coat the florets and stems with the mixture. Do not simply sprinkle the garlic on top; mix it into the oil.

  3. 03

    Cook in a single layer

Arrange the florets and stems in a single layer on the properly installed inner rack, and start the Air Oven at 165℃ for 15 minutes without preheating. If you cannot ensure there is enough space between them, cook them in separate batches.

    Check the tips during cooking

After 5 and 10 minutes, pause the cycle, pull out the basket, and check the color and arrangement of the flower buds. After 10 minutes, rotate them and return the basket to the air fryer. If the flower buds fly out or smoke appears, stop the cycle and discontinue use.

Check all the way to the center of the stem

After 15 minutes, insert a bamboo skewer into the thick stem. Only if it is still firm and there is no charring on the flower buds should you set the Air Oven to 165℃ for 5 minutes; manually stop the cycle after 1〜2 minutes and check again. If the flower buds turn dark brown, do not extend the cooking time, and avoid eating the firm parts.

    Toss with lemon

Transfer the cooked florets and stems to a plate, and drizzle 4g of lemon juice over everything. Do not return the food to the appliance for further heating with the juice added.

Check the results

Check to make sure a bamboo skewer can be inserted all the way through the thick stem and that the flower buds are not charred. It has not been confirmed using an actual air fryer whether the texture of the florets and stems will be consistent. The flavor, texture, and any additional cooking time required have not been confirmed using an actual air fryer.

If you get stuck along the way

The flower buds are burnt and the stems are tough.

Next time, instead of cutting the flower buds smaller, split the thick stems lengthwise to make them 10mm or less. Do not extend the cooking time while leaving burnt florets in the appliance.

Water is leaking from between the segments

After washing, drain the broccoli with the florets facing down, and wipe the cut surfaces as well. Since stacking them can cause them to get soggy, next time I’ll reduce the amount I prepare at one time.

How the Recipes Were Created and Sources Consulted

These are original recipes created using AI on Crisp. They are not listed as official manufacturer recipes or recipes that have been verified using actual devices.

Standards verified in official documents
The Air Oven setting range is 80〜200℃ and 1〜90 minutes. The manual states that a short press of TIME adjusts the time in 5-minute increments.
Independently designed details and unverified points
The applicability of the RAO-3 garlic roasting standard to this recipe has not been confirmed. The conditions for other mixed steamed vegetables have not been converted to match this cluster shape or the initial cooking time for the Air Oven. The quantities, thickness, initial state, temperature, initial cooking time, and additional checks are uncooked prototype conditions proposed independently by Crisp.

The manual states that a short press of TIME changes the setting by 5 minutes, while its cooking references also include times such as 18 minutes. Since actual device increments are unverified, this page uses initial settings in 5-minute increments and distinguishes them from elapsed checking times. Omitting alcohol is an independent prototype policy.
